Tangerang, 17 September 2022 – Inspired by creative lifestyle, SOUTH78 as lifestyle creative-hub which is expected to become the main destination for every creative community out there to share their ideas and explore more collaborative activities. In this post-pandemic era, SOUTH78 is committed to continuing to develop and adapt in order to provide a public space for stimulating the creative and innovative movements to actively participate in economic growth in Indonesia.
Several community-based activities have been done at SOUTH78, and this time SOUTH78 will be the venue for Collateral Event Bintaro Design District with the theme Common Future, which will take place from 14 – 24 September 2022.
“SOUTH78 as a Collateral Event Bintaro Design District 2022, providing us with hope and creativity from every aspect such as architecture, interior design, graphic design, product design, culinary and retail. At SOUTH78, we’re hoping to be the solution and inspiration, especially for the community who really appreciates design and creativity, including all areas around us like Tangerang and South Tangerang that are dominated by the younger generation.” said William Simiadi, Director of SOUTH78.
In this Collateral Event Bintaro Design District, we have 5 art installations from: Eco Black, Ruang Main, Paska Daksa, Blueprint, and Biodiversity Future Archive. The installation, which responds to the main theme of new hope for the future, especially at this post-pandemic, has become a solid platform for various collaboration activities. This kind of activity attracted many creative industries, which were attended by more than 30 collaborators and more than 50 creative workers from various fields. This event also has more than 20 workshops to invite the public to express themselves through various art like painting, printing and art activity for kids. And also, there are several Design Talks from several experts in their field.
This activity is a hope for new creative ideas in the development of the design and creative industry in Indonesia. Working hand in hand to support this industry to keep moving forward.
