Tangerang, June 14, 2022 – Located at the VIVERE Experience and Collaboration Space, SOUTH78 in Gading Serpong, the Exclusive Launching of the ARCH:ID Conference was held under the theme “Sebentang Serentang Segendang,” featuring the Indonesian Institute of Architects (IAI) Central and Banten Chapters and attended by a number of its members.

ARCH:ID is an initiative of the Indonesian Institute of Architects (IAI), in collaboration with PT Citra Inovasi Strategi Exhibition, serving as an ongoing dialogue forum between architects and players in Indonesia’s construction industry. First held in 2020, ARCH:ID has also become the largest gathering of architects in Indonesia.

Entering its second edition, ARCH:ID not only explores architecture and the industry through the “mainstream” perspectives that have long dominated similar events, but also creates a broader space to embrace all aspects of architecture across Indonesia—from islands, cities, and villages to the diverse living spaces that exist throughout the country.

The Exclusive Launching of the ARCH:ID Conference opened with a welcome speech by William Simiadi, Managing Director of VIVERE GROUP, who expressed his enthusiasm for the ARCH:ID 2022 series of events and reaffirmed VIVERE’s full support for this year’s program by hosting the satellite event at SOUTH78. The event continued with remarks from Ar. G. Budi Yulianto, IAI, AA, Chairman of the IAI National Board, who encouraged all IAI members to participate and contribute to the success of ARCH:ID 2022. This was followed by a presentation on the main theme and four-day program by Ramadhoni Dwipaya and Theresia A. Purnomo, representatives of the ARCH:ID 2022 curatorial team and members of the IAI Media, Publication, and Partnership division. The event concluded with a showroom tour and dinner, providing an opportunity for more than 30 prominent architects to reconnect and catch up.
