ARCH:ID, an architecture festival initiated through a collaboration between the Indonesian Institute of Architects (IAI) National Board and CIS, will return on July 14–17, 2022. This year, ARCH:ID 2022 will be curated by architects from three different cities: Ary Indra (Salatiga), Hermawan Dasmanto (Surabaya), and Doni Dwipayana (Medan).

SOUTH78 in Gading Serpong will serve as one of the satellite event venues, with VIVERE Experience & Collaboration Space as the host and additional venue for ARCH:ID 2022, Indonesia’s largest architecture event. Activities at SOUTH78 will include an architectural photography workshop, product and catalog launches, an architect and interior designer gathering, design talks, demonstrations, exhibitions, and giveaways. The program will feature several experts in their respective fields, including Mario Wibowo, Lea Aziz, Wood Nerd Indonesia, Troy Hodges, and Suzanna Salton.

SOUTH78 has emerged as a new destination designed to spark creativity, particularly among the community around Serpong. The architecture of SOUTH78 was designed by Sonny Sutanto, who will also be a speaker at the ARCH:ID Talk Series on Friday, July 15, 2022, from 1:30–2:30 p.m. The building is a multifunctional, design-oriented, and progressive architectural space—reflecting a forward-thinking approach. Structurally, the building incorporates complex modeling calculations to ensure that its horizontal structure is modified into a unique circular form resembling DNA, complemented by an art piece entitled Dancing Rotan (not Rattan) by artist Nus Salomo.

This multifunctional building comprises retail spaces, F&B areas, offices, a hotel, and versatile functional spaces. It also features anchor tenants such as Iruum Complex Korean Market, which brings an authentic Korean cultural experience through its food, traditional clothing, supermarket, and Korean cooking classes. VIVERE Experience & Collaboration Space is also located within SOUTH78, occupying an area of 4,000 m² and welcoming visitors with interior design inspiration and a comprehensive furniture showroom.
